On September 11-12, 2019 Postman hosted “POST/CON 2019” the 2nd annual Postman User Conference here in San Francisco, CA.
The conference brought together 400+ attendees and 32 speakers to dive deep into Postman use-cases and thought leadership from industry experts.
I was responsible for the visual identity of the conference from head to toe. This included a 200’ videowall “PiP” display, 5 illustrated vinyl wall wraps (some as large as 14x46’), entrance window wrapping, swag/sticker designs, and all the various printed collateral like badges, menus, directional posters, coupons, etc…

The Bits & Bytes show is a online series of five 10 minute episodes created by Facebook that explores the world of video games, past and present.
The show was part of the initial launch of Facebook Watch, the companies new platform for video on demand, live or recorded.
The objective was to create a logo that would embody the world of video games and streaming culture. Like the show, it needed to invoke nostalgia while also still being modern and eye-catching. The deliverables were a logo, lower thirds, t-shirts, as well as working closely with an animator to produce the show’s intro and cut scenes
Ultimately the end goal of the launch was to boost engagement for Facebook Watch and to create a platform for all creators and publishers to find an audience, build a community of passionate fans, and earn money for their work.
Nitro builds easy-to-use PDF software that helps people & businesses work smarter with digital documents. Nitro Pro is the flagship product of the Nitro Suite and number one Adobe Acrobat alternative that allows users to create, edit, sign, and secure PDFs.
With a few months to go before the latest, most advanced product launch, Nitro Pro 11, we saw an opportunity to create an impactful campaign and score some major revenue, so our goal was to secure it.
Targeting existing Nitro customers, we wanted to create a license upgrade email series that would resonate with customers, as well as offer varying promos of 10% to 30% off an upgraded license.
Personally responsible for all design, front end development, and theme.
Directly improved the online number as well as a 560% lift in open rates and up to 4600% lift in click-through rates.
Brew Age is an online series that documents the outbreak of craft brewers in the San Francisco Bay Area. The show documents different small/home breweries throughout the SF Region. The design objective was to create a logo, for the show as well as all the movie titles and credits with a craft/handmade feel. The solution was to create typography by hand for the logo,credits, and movie titles to hold to the idea of craft brew.
Prior to Nitro Pro 11 we were also having an alarming rate of cart abandonment and negative feedback from SDR’s and AE’s due to customer confusion about what pricing package they needed. So we needed to look into fixing the pricing page.
After evaluating the pricing page, we came to the conclusion that we needed to reorganize and simplify the language. We developed 2 different versions, one with 3 pricing options and the other with 4. After A/B testing these against each other we saw that cart abandonment and conversion rates improved greatly with 3 options.
Nitro Cloud is Nitro's online product for document productivity and it needed refresh. I was the owner of the UI icons that are used throughout the product.
Nitro for Enterprise is Nitro's newest product for desktop document solutions for large scale businesses. Our objective was to create a new brand that will target customers such as CIO's or IT Asset Managers. The deliverables for this campaign were a full homepage refresh, emails, customer success stories, and targeted advertising. We aimed to refresh and elevate our design style to the next level. The design style is focused heavily on a combination of photography and overlaid illustrations. We also created custom brush hand drawn brush strokes to be used on all of our illustrations to give them a unique, handmade feel, while still keeping the structure of a computer drawn icon.
A new feature-set built into Entelo’s recruiting automation solution, Entelo Insights leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning technology to deliver candidate-specific insights and outreach recommendations. Discover things like candidates’ career highlights, likelihood of switching jobs, company fit, skill mastery, and estimated market value.
The goal was to create a new look and feel specifically for Entelo Insights that could then be used as a starting point for an all over brand refresh post launch. Our mission was to have a new flushed out illustration style, photography treatment, and overall feel that would be distributed throughout all our materials/templates by the date of the Entelo Insights launch party.

The Drakes Bay Oyster Farm was at risk of closure. On November 29, 2012, the federal government issued a decision that gave a family-run oyster business in northern California 90 days to shut down their business and vacate the National Park Land that has been home to the farm for generations. The design objective was too create an identity for the campaign. As well as creating movie titles for the promotional documentary, posters, t-shirts, and flyers to save Drakes Bay Oyster Farm. The solution was to create two vector oyster shells with a loud and bold message in between to spread knowledge.
This was a school project from 2012 that I still love to share.
Chain Gang is an India Pale Ale that is brewed by Alcatraz Brewery in Tiburon, California. The design objective was to create a 6-pack beverage holder and beer label design that focused on the early 20th century prison term “Chain Gang.” The design is minimalistic with a focus on the ball and chain with the call-out color orange to conjure an association to a prisoners orange jumpsuit. The design creates a feeling of nostalgia while also alluring consumers with its enticing and tantalizing graphics.
